A Different Way of Healing

Traditional Reiki often involves hands-on techniques or focused intention toward specific outcomes. In contrast, the Let Animals Lead® method of animal Reiki is non-invasive and permission-based.

There is no expectation. No pressure. No agenda.

Instead, the practitioner enters a meditative, heart-centered state and offers Reiki energy into the space. This creates a peaceful environment where your animal can access the energy in their own way.

This method is especially supportive for:

• Sensitive, anxious, or fearful animals

• Animals with a history of trauma or abuse

• Senior pets or those with chronic conditions

• Animals who prefer space or minimal handling

Because there is no physical contact required, animals feel safe and empowered which often allows for deeper relaxation and healing. Most importantly, this approach strengthens the bond between you and your animal by honoring their voice and their autonomy.

Kathleen Prasad’s Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki is deeply rooted in the traditional Japanese Reiki techniques as taught by founder Usui Mikao. Along with adherence to the “Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics”, this method of Animal Reiki is founded on the “Six Pillars of the Let Animals Lead® Method:

• Based on Japanese Reiki techniques

• Uses touch only when animal-initiated

•  Focuses on the animal’s perfection in the present moment

• Teaches meditation as the way of compassion
